More Features & Graphics Overhaul

To ensure development continues while I search for a technical teammate, I took the liberty to pickup more coding myself as I would hate to keep you waiting any longer on a progress update. Below is a list of features that have been added:

• Experience (aka XP)

• Item Drops (Fuel, and Ammo)

• Weapon Reload

• Critical Hits & Damage Variation

• Damage Numbers

• Shield Regeneration

• Fuel Now Only Burns While Moving

I really appreciate everyone's feedback on the V1 demo. A few of the new features (such as how fuel burns) were solutions to flaws pointed out by the community.

As for graphics I have applied normal maps to all of the sprite work, achieving dynamic lighting. I find that blending graphical realism with a pixel art aesthetic makes for a unique look that truly pops.

Lastly I wanted to mention all of the great games and projects I saw at the RPI Gamefest. Shoutout to the people at TVGS for facilitating that. I am very fortunate to be located in such a game development hotspot. Once Devoid is ready, I’ll certainly enter it at similar events.
